Ok so here is the hypothetical question, (now that I read about P/C claiming a WHOLE car). Racer #1 and I are in the points chase, I claim racer #1's engine after he wins for $600. He has to go and spend lets say $2000 for a new engine, (and I pretty well guarantee it wouldn't be ready in 4 days), so the next time Racer 1's on the track I claim him again for $600. And on and on and on. So for $1200 or $1800 or whatever I have knocked my competition out of the running and have a bunch of engines available to me that I paid less than 1/3 for. And a fast pickup truck. They would have so many claims and counterclaims they wouldn't be able to keep track. The guy that runs fourth wins the championship, and the engine builder gets rich. Period.
