Ok being the master for creating contraversey that I am I want to get back to that battle in the last 5 laps between McLeod and Baker!!LOL From what I saw when McLeod got by Baker in 1&2 I think Keith gave him a bit of a nudge to get Dwayne to slide up the track a little so the 19 could get the inside line. I didnt see nothing dirty there, just a little rubbin is racin type thing. Now I completely missed the final pass by Baker coming out of 4 as they were coming to the white flag ( and for the record I was writing notes not staring at cleavage lol) but judging by the amount of smoke that was coming from the Baker car due to tire rub I assume there was some contact made. As I say didnt see it so cant really say too much if it was a clean pass or not, but if Baker did give the 19 car a bit of a rough go I dont think it was done cause Baker couldn't stand the thought of McLeod winning two weeks in a row. My best guess would be that Baker felt he owed McLeod one from an incident that happened with about one month left in last years season. The only problem with this is, McLeod now probably feels he owes Baker one, and if he follows through then this could be a pattern that repeats itself week after week. Now both guys are great racers and dont need to race dirty, so for all of the fans sake lets hope this doesnt turn a wreckfest week after week where other innocent cars could get caught up in this. I personally like and respect both guys and their driving abilities so lets just hope both can put the events last week behind them and continue on with some good clean balls to the wall racing. Thats all from the cheap seats folks!!!!LOL

From my vantage point on the back stretch, I didnt see any contact from Kieth into Baker on McLeod's pass, and comming outa 2 it looked like McLeod got lose real bad on his own and Baker shot up beside him down the back stretch McLeod tried to shut the door on Baker but Dwayne was too far up inside McLeod, thus making contact on Bakers right front fender the two went into corner 3 Keith slid up Baker completed the pass, at any rate lets leave till Wed to see what really happens.

i dont think you can penalize a car for being stock...if some came with a bit of rear camber from the factory that is an advantage too racing that car...most front wheel drives i have seen cant get much front adjustments like a mustang can, unless you cheat alittle from "stock"...mustangs have all kinds of different gears and trans and aftermarket stuff, that some tracks allow and others dont...those are surely an advantage over running other makes...as long as its "stock" should be the rule...spring rubbers arent stock...someone tried wood at Flamboro and they got DQ'd as well..lol...the carb gasket is a surprise and i certainly would be getting intouch with who ever made it too question that...that is tough teching...is it why I see Burrows are at Sunset now? Lol.

I think Sat night was the best night racing wise that we've had so far this year!! The thing that gets me is we always get through the heats with minimal to no incidents ( I think in the last two weeks there have been no more than 2 or 3 cautions to complete 16 heat races) then come feature time when the $$ is on the line WHAM O thats when the rough driving occurs!! Now to me this is stupid cause alot of the times the cost of fixing the cars would far outweigh the difference in gaining a couple of positions. If your patient enough the holes will open up just make sure your alert enough to fill them. But if the black flag were used alot more( or at all for that matter )this problem would surely be alleviated. I havent seen one black flag this year to date!!! Please dont tell me these guys are driving that much cleaner than in years past cause that's B.S I have seen at least 3 or 4 cases where I would of dropped the black but this starter doesnt seem to have the courage or power to do it. That's just my opinion on what's going on out there and it needs to be fixed!!!
