I would say that is going a bit far. I can see the guy from the other team may have thought it was your dads fault but what gives him the right to kick and dent the car. I don't think the series they race in will do anything as you have to remember these are not huge series where they can fine the team. I guess they could warn the team that if they do it again action will be taken.

well racing is a contact sport lol. and sometiems things do happen in the heat of the moment. tempers flare and things do happen, i think it will be a dead issue come next week. ;D  knowing your dad he will talk to them next week and they will shake hands and it will be over

I agree that is taking it too far. I think the last couple weeks have proved that crew members and others should just stay out of what goes down on track. And I'm really suprised this happened to your dad Teri-Lynn, as anyone around Barrie knows that he is one of the most sportmanlike and respected drivers at the track in that division. I know for a fact that no matter how mad your dad might be about a particular incident he would never do that to anyone else, so a reminder to treat other drivers as you would like to be treated yourself and respect their equipment at ALL times. I agree heat of the moment stuff happens, but I think alot of the times if these drivers/crew took 20 mins to go back to their own pit to cool down alot of these incidents could be avoided. There you have it DAVE VOKEY's unwritten 20 min rule!!!LOL try it you just might like it!!!!!LOL

he will either go talk to them or just avoid them altogether.
he was mad, the first thing i heard him say when he got to the pit pad was "HE F*****G KICKED MY CAR!!" but he knew he didn't want to do anything and he wont. he has had nothing against this driver or crew, actually they got along really well. I am really glad he is sportsman-like and can get along wit everyone, even if he has to pretend until they go away lol.
