Well Steve thats interesting, I scanned the rules, and I dont see anything about having to start scratch the next week either. ???
Sounds like a made up rule to me, better bring a coppy yourself, and then check it with the speedways copy, to make sure they havent written a new set during the week. 😮

I dont think its reading the rules to find the exact wording, its just finding this very important phrase:
ALL TECHNICAL DIRECTOR DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

I think the "severe" "punishment" was probably due to the fact, the points leader was intentionally taken out.
As i recall Jim Beleskey was penilized for rough driving with the points leader a few years ago. Also he was suspended for 2 weeks for "sending a strong message" at a different time.
So i would imagine, being in Steevo's position, i would be happy to still be able to race the following week at barrie.

Bottom line, suck it up.

Well Steeve that is a new one for me too. I agree on both sides of the fence, on one hand that is definatly new, on the other hand there could have been suspensions etc..Now lets just wait and see if they are consistant with there ruling, or if its different rules for different drivers........not that it would happen at Barrie.. 😮
