So what they are accusing you of is running a 5.0L spring in the right front? Someone care to get the stats on a 5.0L spring?

Yah, and thats how we took it, we just wish the "rule" was a little more clear than that.....usually Grey areas goes to the driver or tech asks u to fix it for next week to their specs...

but whatever, we'll move on, and bring a fast piece again saturday and go for another W....Trav is going to have to win out just to have a shot at 'er...hope he brings his big boy pants!

I thought all the Mustangs ran those RF 5.0 springs and shocks? I know back in 07' last year i ran 4 banger most of em did but dad wouldn't let me try them cause the coils were a bit thicker. Maybe they should go and check everybody's cars for that sort of thing and not just pin one guy. Or like somebody said, tell them to have them same side to side for next week and not dock any points and keep it a close points battle. I think although the way it reads in the rules may seem slightly vague and completely unclear, when you travel into the grey areas there should always be some warning to have them out or then be DQ'd. Or if you think you may be in a grey area we always use to ask Brad about it just to be safe. Sucks for Travis though. Bet Shawn would have wanted it a tight battle to the end.
