What is going on with the new owners

Having just gotten home from the track, it makes me wonder if Barrie Speedway will make it through the year with any drivers. I saw one driver grab another driver by the throat be pulled away by one of the new owners and not be penalized on the spot for the contact.  I found out later that the first driver works for the owners at Rama Moccasin.  Then after the Late Model feature was over I heard the same owner tell a Late Model driver that he doesn't care if the he leaves. I thought the owners would be happy to have any drivers stay and "race" there, but after watching them tonight I don't believe that they want any cars other than the ones they sponsored last year to stay.

You are so wrong buddy, so wrong ! I do not know the new owners on a personal level, talked to them a few times at the track. These are people that truly care about the sport of racing, the fans, all of the drivers, ect, ect. For you to make a statement like that you are so far out of line. It is very hard to make everyone happy. These are very fare people that jumped in to a big fire to save racing in our area and to me they are doing one hell of a job. To the owners of BSW, great job.keep up the good work. My hat goes off to you.

While he may be wrong about them not caring he does bring up a good point. In the drivers meeting last night they told us no violence would be tolerated and that it would bring a two week suspension , but the incident of someone grabbing  someone by the throat did indeed happen and no suspension? Well what are people to think? I think Rick and Dianne are great people and great for the sport they genuinely give everything they can to make barrie speedway a great place to be!!!!

the owners are faced with many challengs in this sport and are doing 100 % better than the previous owners but they unfortunatly are responsible for their employes actions and calls. The calls made are to be determined by the race director (darryl stonge).he is the one you guys should be hanging not the owners .my hat goes off to the owners keep up the great work as for the race director, time to read the rules and do as u say and stop blowing smoke up everyones ass.the ruling in the late models was a call to be questioned, backing up and then driving over another car under caution is an un-questionable black flag . . . . way to go DARRYL.
