Well just maybe the most memorable confrontation would be good WATTIE!!LOL Always up for a good story. I think you maybe wrong about Jr. Regan though, as I dont believe he was ever a Barrie titlest. But same thing applies I'm not argueing just discussing. I myself remember one dynamite feature I watched at Sunset in the late 90s though involving Regan and Bob Phinnemore in what I believe was also the Challenger division at the time. They battled the entire feature at the front of the field, side by side, lap after lap with Regan just nipping Bob at the line at the end. That would of been around 1997-98 if I remember right but still stands out to me as one of the best races I witnessed

And that would be the first year of Cascar at Barrie wouldnt it ?
it's a different era of CASCAR I believe that was the Craven "A" series I don't think that was the CASCAR they were talking about but you are right
Yes I guess you are right technically HOLLAND!!!! Great old shot and now I'm convinced upon seeing that I indeed know your identity!!LOL But secret is safe with me. Jack Cook won both the 1st Cascar race held at BSW and Sunset correct?? And the Sunset one took 2 weeks to run after that massive pit flooding. Correct again????LOL Funny how some things never change with regards to pit flooding!!!!!FLMAO So Cascar then was known as the CRAVEN A series in 81 and then became the NUMBER 7 Lights series in 82 right???? The first CASCAR race at Sunset was one year later than that pic in 1982, and was won by Jack Cook as mentioned, with #23 Larry Lemay of Mount Clements, Michigan finishing 2nd, and Maritime legend Frank Fraser finishing 3rd. See HOLLAND I didnt forget what you taught me, and thanks for that. Although I was at that flooded race I didnt remember the finish till you told me. I also believe when the Cascars ran Sunset the next season it was Biederman winning with Lemay again 2nd and Mike Shaughnessy 3rd. Not sure if that was still the No.7 Lights series in 83 or it might of even been 82 as well, if they ran twice that season but somewhere I have a photo around with all three of those drivers being presented tote bags at Sunset. Did they indeed run two races at Sunset in that series in 82 or would I be thinking 1983???
