I wasn't at the meetings, but heard that they were thinking of one heat race, (don't know how they were deciding lineup - should be by handicap to be fair )  and then they were going to start fast cars at front,  and then reverse and put handicaps to the rear for the 2nd.  I don't know if they have figured this all out as of yet.  It will be a lot of work for whomever has to figure this out every night as they will need to update handicaps as the night goes on to do correctly.  It could make for good racing,  but if you break or wreck  in the lst one,  it could drop you quickly in points unless they change the point structure, or allow so many show up points if you break in the lst and can't start the 2nd.  I checked the website, and the handicap procedures don't have any changes on this from last years Late Model system,  so this hasn't been figured out I guess

Davey I was at the meeting and thats about the way I heard it. One heat and two features for each car. I believe the heat was draw a number and the feature was your handicap for one of them and the other would be fast cars to the front. I guess mid pack and slower cars would just be field fillers for that one which makes it kind of pointless to run it. The crates got the weight break of 100 pounds which should make the field even tighter and more competitive, it should be interesting to say the least.

Rick that is if anybody shows up with anything other than a crate engine.  Not sure how many cars can get to 2900 pounds and still have good left side and rear weight percentages.  Don't think a stock clip car or a tube chassis that is over five years old will get to the minimum weight, that is if they have legal 095 wall cage and frame rails.  Pretty sure the 48, 28, and if the 47 shows up can get to 2900.  Probably your car can also and possibly the 8 car.  Some of the older tube clip cars  the 10, 2, 69, may get to 2950 but they would still be giving up several pounds to the newer chassis' at the track.  I'm glad the owners didn't want to change any rules that would cost the racers money!

Does that mean your putting a crate back into the LOOK COMPANY DODGE Keith??? That suprises me if so, as the built motors won quite a few features last season 10 out of 17 if my tabulations are correct?? Does the 100 pounds really make that big of a difference that guys like Reynolds, Lewis, and yourself will switch back to crates??? Sorry for my ignorance but I dont really know that much about the mechanical aspects and would like to learn more.
