By no means was I mirror driving, and you could have landed a Hercules cargo plane on the outside of me everywhere on the track. I never once saw him try the outside, I chose my line and stuck to it. If I was "blocking" by using the preferred line, then so be it, I was blocking, but last time I checked I got to choose my line, just because he wanted the same line doesn't put me in the wrong. If his nose got up underneath me then I would have submitted and given him the inside, but as you worded it, he was "looking" he was never there. I was glued to the inside as much as possible and that was my perogative as the car in front. And if you saw me drift wide a couple times, guess what, he was tapping me going in and coming out of corners preceding the spin, so I had help. If he had a quicker car, go around me, the door was open. I have no personal problem with 99 but it was a raw deal and I was trying my damnedest to keep it clean and by the books and have a decent finish for once, which we both would have got.

Well, something was giving me a jolt, maybe I was backfiring a lot 😉 And hells yes his car out handled mine by a mile, I had to start breaking ridiculously early to get the car slowed down so I could give the vague impression of turning left thus the riding me the middle out I guess. He wasn't bumping so much going in, but coming out of the corner there was a bit of bumper play, nothing to write home about until the spin, but all in all the outside wasn't even on his radar it seemed. I just don't like this accusation of mirror driving, I have enough on my mind trying to get my damn car to go where I want then to bother looking back at what he was doing. Ya, I would check to see if he was under me so I didn't cut down on his nose but that's about it.
