Hmm, too bad I didn't get to read some of the comments made earlier as they were removed before I got a chance. But thankfully, I wasn't involved in the mess as some would so believe. I was trying to calm my brother down, trying to get him from running on the track. As dad has said to me, I believe my brothers pit road is all over and done with. He will have to watch the features from the stands the rest of the year. Just so everyone knows, I am not going to completely stick up for my dad on the incident either. What he did was wrong under caution. I thought for sure the black flag was going to come out. I do believe he got dumped pretty badly though before the caution incident. But as the rest of the year has gone so far I have been leaving the issues that happen on the track for my dad to deal with. So dad felt he needed to deal with it a certain way. That is his business not mine. Two wrongs definately did not make a right in the TC feature. But what is done is done. It's unfortunate that it had to go that way as both dad and Eddy were having great runs. I just want to take the time to apologize for my brothers actions as it has embarrassed our entire team. I believe the situation would have been kept under control had it not been for his actions. I feel embarrassed that the fans had to see that. I feel embarrassed that everyone looks badly at my dad for my brothers actions at the speedway. Dad made a mistake and Eddy made a mistake. what's done is done. I think the track needs to start cracking down big time on rough driving. If the track deals with rough driving then certain things would not go much beyond in the pit areas. I feel bad for Ron and Dar of Teo Tyme Recycling who are almost thinking of getting away from the speedway. I hear they have been great sponsors for years and it would be a shame if they left and their drivers left all because of how the speedway is being run. That is my take on the situation.

So now I would like to say that how crappy is that for Shawn Murray to bring out a new car and end up with damage. That has to suck. I spoke with him in the infield afterwards and now he says since it has damage he is just going to race it harder. Go getem Shawn. It's too bad that Chris Burrage ended up puking a rad, his car was running great all night long and I want to congradulate him on his heat win. Bad luck also for Marty. He seems to bide his time and end up getting great finishes but last night was just not his night as a slower car was pushed out of the way causing a pretty bad wreck on the back stretch.

Congrats to MHM Driver Jeff Heighington who had his best ever feature finish with a 2nd place in the charger division. your car is getting better all the time buddy, keep up the good work.

Yes as I read earlier in another post the officials did miss a call in the LLM race when young Brandon Watson was spun and Shepherd who spun him got to keep his spot. Wasn't sure why that call was made but maybe the officals saw it differently then I did.

I was waiting for a response from Dave Doucette's question in the drivers meeting. maybe a " sorry we made a wrong decision, we will try to be more consistant from here on out" would have been the good answer. But the total disrepect by not giving an answer was uncalled for. Dave Doucette is a great guy for apologizing for what he did. Shows class, most drivers would not even bother.

hey man, i have absolutely no beefs with you or your dad,BUT your brother crossed the line with me! i've put up with his big yap long enough and yesterday was the end. him and i are going to talk personally at the next opportunity. i don't want any hard feelings but that guy is out of control. he causes more grief for you guys than anything.i have a strange feeling its about to stop.

yes I agree with you Jim on that one. He makes us look bad when he gets out of control like that. I feel like a babysitter in the infield when he gets out of control. But dad has suspended his pit road time now. Hope that takes care of the situation. Dad sent you a PM about it earlier I believe. Dad and I are going to move on and look forward to the next night of racing. Hopefully all involved will do the same.

Well I composed the Barrie report for the website last night and send it off. Should expect to see it up on the site later on this evening if I'm guessin right. Just thought I'd let you all know that if anyone cares!!!LOL It was really nice to see first time winners #35 Chance Isherwood in Thunders and #6 Kelly Wood in Chargers. They were both so excited and happy to be in victory lane, you could see in in their faces and hear it in their voices!! That to me is what racing is all about, and is the exact reason I cheer to see different guys in victory lane from time to time. Same thing was evident when #72 Marty Monette won the Mid Season 50 for Thunders a few weeks ago. So a big congrats goes out to both Chance and Kelly. Keep up the good work. I figure McLeod now has the point lead by virtue of his 3rd in the feature plus a heat win and 3rd in the other heat. I figure it could be Gordie and Dwayne now tied in points or if not very close together in the race for 2nd. Keith should have about a 6 or 7 point lead on both those guys heading into this weekend if my tabulations are accurate. In Thunders, Tremblay cut into Frank's 4 point lead in the heats but Frank finished 6th in the feature I believe while Eddie was involved in a incident and I dont think finished the race!!! So my best guess there might have Frank ahead by around 10 points now. Should be another great event when the Thunders return in 2 weeks. #26 Shawn Murray's New Gen Avenger looks great!!! Nice to see more and more New Gens all the time. Starting to remind me of when the Challengers were in their heyday, and there are still old style Thunders that have no problem keeping up like Frank, Doucette, and Monette. As I  said I thought both the LLM feature and Thunders were very exciting this week. And yes CHARGER 49 you too got hosed by that call!!! Now last year there was a rule in place that if you spun the leader he would get his spot back at the starter's discresion. Is this rule no longer in place for 08?? I didnt see you do anything wrong at the front of that field Mike, as you say you left Drew lots of room to the outside. Dont think he intentionally doinked you BUT to me you should of came out of that incident still the leader of that race, unless they abolished the afore mentioned rule!!! Anyone know if the "Spin the Leader" rule is still in place??? I'm going to ask scorer Craig for clarification on that this week as that guy is a walking rule book!!! Most def knows his stuff and BSW is lucky to have that guy around!!

Dave, it was explained to me that it was not deemed intentional by the officials, which I can argue as I was nudged for the previous 3 corners, but not hard enough for any fireworks to go off. Everything was smoothed over but I do hope that next time people take the outside line invitation which I whole heartedly gave. I can understand that the officials want to put in place strict rules so there is no subjectivity, but rules like "if you're involved you go to the back" is not really a rule that can be applied absolutely and still be fair. I was told that the drivers voted on this rule so I could not argue it. I guess I missed that show of democracy in action. I didn't ask to be involved and did everything in my power to allow a clean race for the lead and if he got around me on the outside I would have been rightfully bested and the win would have gone to the driver most deserving. It is just unfortunate that a possible 1-2 for us two drivers was thrown out the window unnecessarily. On the plus side my handicap will probably allow me another shot at it, maybe it'll go better on the second try... 🙂 And a big congrats to the 6 and 56, I like seeing variety in the winners circle.

sorry to say dave but charger49 was mirror driving drew.  that's why he would come out of 2 heading high then carve it down to block him when he saw drew looking under him.  yes it was drew's fault but charger 49 was blocking.
