Hi Dianne,

If I come across photo proof of my point I'll figure a way to post on here.  yes you sold 500 VIP seats however there were not 500 sitting in that section of the track as many like to travel around the track from different areas to enjoy the race which they are entitled to.  And as i said its not just for Barrie its for all tracks to take notice of as I know Kawartha will have a section setup going into corner 1 and I'm betting 1/2 of that area will be empty while fans are standing unable to find spots to sit.

As for security i was only trying to give you some feedback on what i saw and the number of times security had to come by and deal with people being in the way was crazy.  Not only that but the fact it almost came to blows because certain fans felt they were tougher then security I just wanted to let you know that something might want to be done to avoid that in the future.  Guess i was wrong to do that.

Get ready to eat your shorts Davey ... There were 12 cautions for 151 Laps of 310.  That's 159 Green flag laps.  The most cautions at Barrie Speedway was in 2007 I believe with 16.
It seemed like once the first caution fell on the night, the rest were quick to follow.  The last 2 years you might have seen better racing and longer green flag runs, but with only 16-17 cars on the track. With 22 cars like there were this year, it fills the track up pretty darn quick.

Are you kidding??? This was likely the worst race I've ever seen... 8 laps caution, 7 laps caution, 5 laps caution, 2 laps caution...Get the drift???  While I didnt see the actual final facts... I'd hazard a guess to say it broke records for both caution laps completed and most cautions... If 150 of the 300 laps were run under actual race conditions I''ll eat my underwear!! Can you say zero meaningful race flow??? If you can you got this one correct...Not to mention they missed who actually got into JR on the last lap totally... If I never see a Canadian Tire Series race in my life again that will be too soon... Maybe I'm spoiled by the NCATS races at Barrie the last 2 seasons but this one was junk with a capital J!!

All those rookie stripes and road course drivers who thought it would be a good idea to get "seat time" at their first oval track at Barrie Speedway couldn't have helped either.

Well you get my point I'm sure Chris, sure seemed like alot more than 12 cautions... I wonder if that includes the times they didnt get a complete lap in before the caution came about again??? And your correct in that the record previous to this was 16 cautions for 101 laps set at both Barrie and another track that escapes me right now (perhaps Saskatoon).. So at worst I was wrong that it featured the most cautions, but it did have the most yellow flag laps to date.. 😉

As for the "rookie stripes" causing chaos out there I didnt really see it that way.. Beyond the 07 of Isabelle Tremblay spinning out of 4 on a couple of occasions (not sure if she was helped but it wouldnt suprise me). I dont think the "rooks" caused many cautions at all... It was more the "series mainstays" from what I recall..

Regardless 151 caution laps shattered the previous record, I had the longest green flag run of approx 35 laps and that was from the initial green.. And yes I'm also aware 22-24 cars at Barrie can create a few log jams but that doesnt mean you start running over people while there's still 200 plus laps remaining ( I saw alot of that).. Bit of a different animal, but when we had 20 Lates take the track for the Garry Reynolds Memorial there was maybe 3 cautions the entire 100 lap race.. That one was highly entertaining..... The Wild Wing 300 not so much so.. If I had my way I woulda left and gone home after the first 100 laps!!! 😉
