The solution is to set the top of the strut where you want it in the slots then weld up the slot just leaving the holes for the relocated strut . Grind off the excess weld and paint over it , end of problem.

wow your smart pinecrest!!you should wright a book (pinecrest's guide to cheating) 🙂

That book was wrote long ago and not by me , Im surprised you dont have a copy.. Thats just an easy solution to a stupid rule if you have a better one please feel free to post it.

I mentioned Joe's name cause he is the tech official making the call, if it was between to other drivers i wouldnt have mentioned both parties names. I dont think that rule should be able to be set in place drivers weren't given enough notice of the rule change to fix this problem. It should have been brought up in the rules meeting. Cant say im playing favorites with mustangs cause i race a cavalier.

the way i see it, it shouldnt matter wheter or not your strut tower is slotted or not. As long you as you have your cameber set correctly when you pass post race inspection, it really shouldnt matter.

This is all talk spoke to Barrie officials and no one knows about this. Wait until you here it at the track before you do anything. You can find out at practice the week before racing begins.
