Just to add to Duken's post Thayne Hallyburton is moving up to LLM, Andre Pepin is moving up from Pure Stock in the 2008 McLeod championship car, Roy Manary is planning his return in LLM after a few years away. Also heard that the original poster has purchased a LLM, may explain why the recently purchased former Melson T.C. has been mentioned for sale on this site. In T.C. Dave Doucette and Darryl St. Onge are returning. Travis Hallyburton is moving up from Pure Stock. Hopefully BFC will find a new owner or driver for the former Melson car to run at Barrie. Haven't heard much about the Pure Stock class but with this much activity in the LLM and TC, I'm sure there will be some new faces there as well. Seems to be a real buzz in the air about Barrie this off season, should be a great year!
Looking forward to 2012 at Barrie as well. Even if I won't be on the track.
I do like reading this though :):):) :

You know what rumours are like Keith. Before I come play with the big boys I need to get back in a car and get going. I promised Jimmy before he passed away that we would go racing a thunder car again and that's my plan for the start of the year. I will be running around with Darryl and Darcy Gribbon more than likely behind them but.......
I sure hope that there's a lot of cars in all divisions and it's ton's of fun!!!!!
Please be sure to thank Mr. Gord Coates for everything he has done too. Lets not forget this class act.
I would appreciate knowing what Gord Coates has done for the speedway since selling, accept for sponsoring a couple cars. As well, the cars he was sponsoring did not even run full time Barrie schedule last couple years.
