Let's all get together and promote the sh$t out of Barrie Speedway this year. I believe that if we all get together we can get the car count up and get the grand stands full like they were before.

I know Dianne and Rick will see this and it would be cool if they did up some decals for the racers to put on a truck, trailer or cars!

If you have any other ideas to help promot the track post them below!!

Have 2 dollar admission night once or twice a year like Peterborough does, or free popcorn and pizza nights.

Let people in for a toonie on opening night, watch the place be packed,  they will  buy tons of food because they saved the admission price.  Gotta advertise it in the mall or radio though.

Everyone knows Barrie races every saturday night, putting that alone on the radio is wasted air time I think, tell them on the radio WHATS NEW or SPECIAL.  Create some interest.  The same old stuff gets stale......why do you think im always pusing for changine the points system and stuff??  The current formula for success worked back in 2002, well its 10 years later, time to start thinking and changing things up, but thats just my opinion.

Who ever can make things better go for it, weather it be my ideas or somebody elses.

May "ALL " drivers and crews, along with management and Fans have a "GREAT 2012" at "ALL" the local tracks

I totally agree with BMC Racing and Charlie 7.. To do something like , would be a great crowd promotion. I think that All tracks that are having problems filling the seats should take a long hard look at doing something similar to draw people.  Hopefully now that my summer Saturday nights might be open, my wife and I look forward to coming up to Barrie a few times, even though we are Sunset fans, as I worked there since 1970 till I semi retired, then went back to work at the track last season.

There is at least 3 new LLM's joining the class for the 2012 season. The 48 of Dwyane Baker fresh from the stompin of Tom Walters at the end of the 2011 Sunset season comes home to BSW, also  the return of Keith McCleod in the former Baker Racing championship car from two years back, and Flyin Frank Davy will run for the LLM rookie crown. It can only get better as the season approaches.  ;D
