Take a breath crewman. I didn't have any commentary about the post race festivities, either for or against. Simply pointed out that it looks to me like the 4 gets down onto the pit exit lane then can't hold it going out of 2 and almost takes the 91 with him. If that's not what I'm seeing then tell me and I'll shut up.

It does lead me to wonder however, going by the GC 200: This vid only shows the last lap. Was the 4 wearing his halo for the other 298 laps?  Seriously. I don't condone post race violence at all, but sometimes that's the only language that some guys will listen to.

I'm not going to repeat myself to guys that already have a predetermined opinion of someone, they plain don't listen to the facts!!! Read the post from racetrackman on page 2 and it might help you to understand if you watch the other video from a different angle, its posted on page 1, you might understand a little more. Urlin never touched laperle. Laperle was PO that Urlin passed him and lost his cool. Anyone that was there knows Urlin ran a very clean hard race and was Laperles only competition. Shadowracer it is NOT illegal to run on that inside lane, (most can't run there because of the soft bumpy track, you enter at your own risk) man some people just don't want to accept the facts!!!

Crewmen you seem to have a predetermined opinion even if you were there. I agree with Shadowracer after watching both videos, Urlin got into 1 good and clean but coming out of 2 you can see he didnt give Laperle any room and the 2 bounced of each other. Watch the video it doesn't lie.

I must be missing the point as it really doesn't matter who did what. It was what happened in the pits is just not right. A racing deal on the track and driver and driver being upset is ok but if it was fans pissed because their driver got wrecked that is a different story and that is shouldn't be tolerated at all.

You are 100% right on that one. There were some fans but there was also one of Laperle's crew and a family member involved. Bottom line here: Urlin didn't deserve that but by the same token he wouldn't rat on them either. Curley really tried to convince Urlin to confirm their identity then there would have been punishment to Laperle but Urlin refused to so what could Curley or the track do about it. Laperle owes Urlin big time for that! Laperle would have been screwed if Urlin had of identified them.
Believe it or not....sounds like the attackers got the worst of it anyways!! LOL
