The racing after that wreck though was awesome. Bottom line is that it is a heck of a small track to be starting that many late models. I got a chuckle out of the guy sitting next to me, he said "Well, the longer this race takes, then the less time we have to wait till next season!" It was my first time at Varney. There was a real "family" atmosphere there. I will be back for sure.

Been there a couple of times this year and both times had a great time. Great racing for a smaller track, lots of side by side and bumping in all the classes.

Hey i love the track and for only $15 the racing that happened was great....but today there was an idiot or 2 in each class except mods and stocks...and they caused so many cautions by being stupid or as one lady called it "brain dead aggressive"...blackflag them and let the racers race. And yes it does have a family atmosphere....but even with family gatherings, sometimes you just have enough and go home..lol.
