Well the current "RUMOUR" is that there will be some track re-construction this coming off season.Likely some corner  4 widening,straightening the front stretch kink,possibly "D" shaping the backstretch to give the track a bit more length,bring it up to a true 1/4 mile.The 23 degree corners WILL remain.gotta luv racing in a soup bowl ;D

yeah i thought it was neat the way your car just came off corner 2 and up you went out swooped out of the corner. But the track ate my tires...thank god they were almost used up anyways. First time I went to Varney I was 4 years old and my dad went out in a heat race to set somebody's car up. He won by half a lap...lol...he always said if you could turn at Varney you could turn better at Barrie or something like that

We've heard that rumour before. We'll see what happens. It is definitely a great track, but it needs smoothing out and the pits are terrible.

the pits aren't that bad but they are a little dusty. Maybe if they put a patch of asphalt in the middle land in the pits so that all the dust didn't fly around. When is the next invitational there anyways if anybody knows

All sunday racing this year is invitationals for all classes.The next one is labor day sunday.
