As part of ongoing efforts at Varney Motor Speedway to improve our on-track product and, respect the efforts and investments of our drivers, we are pleased to announce that we have made some changes to the structure of our regular night Limited Late Model payouts.
Effective for the upcoming 2011 race season, the follwing payout structure will be implemented for the Limited Late Models at Varney Motor Speedway.

We feel this is a step forward in developing our Late Model division. While our first place money may not be quite as much as some other tracks, you will find third on back through the field to be competitive and comparable to other tracks.

I just have a question regarding payouts for the late models.
If only say 4 cars show up to race, will the person who wins get the full $600 for finishing first or will payouts start with 4th place pay (meaning even though they finished first, they would only get paid $250 as there was only 4 cars running)
you would be lucky to get $250 you can polish a turd but it's still a turd (varney) aka hill billy s%*t hole
if i read the rules correct if less than 8 show up the last car would get 8th place money and then guy before him would get 7th and the one before him 6th and so on...
