I have been hearing the same words as well.....I"m not too sure why they just don't come out and announce it public.......maybe a contract agreement ::) I'm just trying to be smart,but I know for sure that at least one person(for now) has bought the speedway cause I heard it from the purchaser's own mouth.

Something to this effect is certainly in motion however, to my knowledge, nothing has officially changed hands from a "legal" standpoint.

The new potential owners are becoming active in race directing decisions as the purchase is pursued but, no money has changed hands as of yet....again....to my knowledge.

In other words, a deal is in place but, nothing paid for yet. This is why "the track" has not just come out and announced it yet. There isn't anything to announce.
Kinda like telling people you're 'one-day' pregnant.....too soon to start spreading the word don't you think?
