"It's been an interesting day. In the first session, we basically just did our routine, bedded in some brakes, got a reasonable balance in the car. The second session, we were obviously looking for a bit more performance and we made some gains over that session. The car responded and we were looking forward to putting on a new tyre at the end, which we did, but unfortunately I didn't get to complete the lap as we had some traffic, so we pulled out of it to save the tyres. The first half of the lap was really good, so we've got half a lap to really look into and of course tomorrow is a new day. The car itself feels good and is responding, so I'm really looking forward to qualifying."
