"It was a good race. We had a cracking start - we went from sixth to almost second into turn one, so I was really pleased with that. The first safety car brought us in early and changed our strategy up and of course with that we had to do a few long stints. We had a really good car today, it was looking after its tyres. I made a slight mistake on the restart, which allowed Shane (van Gisbergen) by. From there we just sort of shadowed him to see where his tyre life was and it was very good to be honest, so we opted for one pit stop which left us with I think 38 laps to the finish. We had a great battle again, Tim Slade managed to slip in between Shane and I. I put a lot of pressure on him, but unfortunately I just couldn't find a way past. I'm really delighted though to finish third on the podium and for us it's a great set of points for the championship."
