Thats the name that is at the bottom of the Sunset race reports but no one i know seems to know who he is . I have asked several people that have been around Sunset for years but no one seems to know him  . Is this a pen name that he uses for the race reports on the Sunset site or is he that kid that follows Spencer Lewis around like a shadow ?

I ask because he seems to be an apologist for Colt Carcone . After Carcone spun Melenhorst at the Frosty he was tripping all over himself to make excuses for Colt in his race report . I like Carcone but he did what he did and since Colt just got married i doubt he needs Brian Watts nose up his butt .

Matt i didn't mean to infer that he was part of yours or Colts crew, but i noticed that in allot of his race reports he seems to gush over Colt . The guys race reports are a little over the top to start with and no one seems to know who he is .

From Brian Watts Frosty report ...

"On Sunday October 14th we brought down the curtain on the 2007 race season at the fastest 1/3 mile oval in Ontario the fabled Sunset Speedway."

"Fabled Sunset Speedway" ?  LOL

" this reporter was really impressed with my first viewing of the J series "

"This reporter" ? Are you a reporter if just have a PDF file attached to Sunsets web site ?

"We had 41 thunder cars in the pits ready to take on the 1/3 mile bullring deemed to tough to tame "

" To tough to tame " ? Was this guy at Sunset or Darlington ?

"as Carcone gets into the rear of 2 car causing him to lose control of his mount "

"lose control of his mount" ? Was this a car race or a horse race ?

" I would also like to thank Colt on his gentleman move when he backed off when Ben got loose and it would appear tp this scribe that Carcone let Ben by with little resistance only Colt knows for sure."

Heres where he starts gushing over Colt and i really like the scribe reference LOL . Is it just me or does this guy sound like Kent Brockman from the Simpson's ?

I know after that Lethbridge story I layed into him, but holy hell this is awfull...Cliche city, which every reporter knows to use only in headlines and never in the body of your story! What a joke. This scribe? His mount? Let's ask him when julius Ceaser will be riding bye....

Too tough to tame? Are you kidding me? you just ran a caution free Thunder Car race and a one early caution Mini race...how is a track too tough to tame when almost all of the drivers there that day tamed it? just curious.....LMAO...this is honestly the biggest sham int he entire world of journalism. If Sunset wants I could write an entire report that is honest. Maybe I will mention 15 minutes for a hot chocolate and only fries left b4 the ini feature at the booth! lol...this is too good.

I would love to meet this man face to face so I can tell him what a sham he is. And, maybe ask him, how in the hell he could possibly call himself a journalist? I would have thought that he wrote the treaty of Versailles, not the Sunset Speedway recap.

Scribe? How about Wannabe?

No need. I could care less about spelling on here. There were no errors in my report i dont think that I did for the track. Also, I am racing...so I kinda can't. BUT I do hope to get a feature article int he spring issue of IT...we will see how it goes...

Also as a side not. I only made one typing wrror above...so Khanefreak...maybe I don't?  ??? 😮 8) 8) 8)
