The coalition is over as of this year. But it would be my guess that the tracks will keep it.
That's an awesome idea and I'd be for it, thou I gotta say that there are bunch of Sunset/Barrie drivers that go to Kawartha Friday nights.
As far as Sunset running Sunday, that'd definately be a good idea as I'd be curious to see how many Barrie drivers would run Sunset on a Sunday and maybe it'd bring back that common respect 🙂

I'd count Sunset out!!! IMHO. and you spoke earlier of Varney being part of the coalition and that's totally false in the Thunder/Super Street classes!!! I would expect Sunset to move towards Barries rules and run Sundays!! The 4412 and 9" are the best moves going along with the updated bodies on the metrics!!
i dont know about them runnig sundays regularly but i do know from the race director that every long weekend will be an invitational at varney ;D

I wouldn't count sunset out. Wes seems to be trying to attrack thunder drivers, to run and for his invitationals. You'd want common rules for the purpose. Also LLMs are few in numbers, every track is going to want to attrack as many cars as possible. No inside knowledge here, its just what would make sence, but we all know things aren't always done that way.
Varney was part of the coalition. If forget which or both even, but the mosport and Kawartha rules actaully list varny as part of their rules package . Unless I'm mistaken, there "stuper stock" is thunder rules, with the street class added after the rules were in effect.

What will be interesting is this weekend at Flamborough. See how many non-flamborough, non-602 thunders actaully show up. Doesn't seem those guys have travelled around much, and I do see that many thunders showing up. I think thats a good argument for common rules..
