Ever Wonder Why this Cable Guy wears a Helmet out on the track, in the Pits, on Pit Road and all points in between on Race Day?
When something unexpected happens you sometimes don’t get a chance to move out of the way or react quickly enough. As happened on Saturday during the Super Stock Feature race. The axle and tire came off of the #57 of Steve Lang. The tire and axle stub bounced and rolled down through Corner 3… CableGuyPhotos posted an unmanned camera on top of the Corner 3 Caution Lights, and this is what I would have seen if I was behind the camera at the time.
That's why I wear the Helmet.
