We would love to travel to Kawartha but like cableguy says friday work schedule wont let that happen .

I would never dismiss Delaware drivers if the rules are close to equal . Delaware drivers and cars in all divisions are some of the best in the country .

If I read all these posts correctly "Thunder Cars" and "SS" are basically the same class but with different rules at different tracks which would give certain cars an advantage at a given track when not racing at their home track or visa versa. It seems to me that the problem with a travelling series or invitational is figuring out what sort of handicap or advantage to give visiting cars. I agree a travelling series would not work with cars built to different rules but for invitationals what about this......
At an invitational all cars run home track rules (a minimum number of cars from a given track must be present) and heats are run for each track. A Tech rep from each track would be present. The top 5 or 6 from each track make it to the feature. The feature has all the heat transfers and the purse is distributed for the race winner and the top finisher from each track then divided up as usual down the finishing order.
Just a thought. I know there is a lot I left out to make something like that work but this would be the basic idea to build on.
Would this work or no? Sounds to me from reading posts on here for the last couple of years that something like this might be easier then getting all the tracks to make their rules more or less the same.

Your idea sounds very logical.I think with a little bit of tweeking it would work.It is a base to start. One of the biggest problems is getting all of the track owners to sit down together and work it out. I really think if this is to happen a guy like Mark Dilley or someone that cares enough about the sport would have to take the bull by the horn. Great idea ernie. It sure would be nice to have a thunder or as many like to call it, street stock travelling series. Anyone else have any ideas? Lets hear them.

Does anyone know what the main differences are between the various TC/SuperSt divisions?

I mean really, how far apart are we all? Is it minor differences or are they glaring?

(non tech guy here...so I really don't know. Just trying to ascertain how hard it can be to bring it all together.)
