Iam not sure that the Delaware cars would be able to keep up at all! Most of their drivers only know 1 track, and dont travel much.Hopefully they will travel to Sunset,by the sounds of it,thats where everyone is going to be.

Heh, our drivers only know one track because they're not legal anywhere else. Once upon a time most Street Stock divisions were more or less the same, then some of the different tracks evolved theirs in different directions. We were one of them (for better or for worse depends who you ask)

I'm sure we've got a few that would love to travel, but thus far havent really been welcomed anywhere due to differing rules.

There was a time when our truck division made a trip up to Barrie as a group. Maybe if the 2 tracks get close enough, they can do something similar with Sunset and the Super Stock division.

I think some of ours are so used to being said no to that it may not have occurred to them. I know Flamboro has said "thanks but no thanks" on a number of occasions.

Bear in mind that, in a sense, it is still a lower tier division, and some guiys are just going to want to race the home track. I could be wrong, and correct me if I am, but most guys don't build a Street/Superstock/Thunder Car with much travelling in mind.  Not thus far anyway.

But man...there's some serious potential there...and a chance for the provinces Thunder car drivers to create the series that, thus far, the LM people haven't been able to. I can guarantee you itd be just as good a show.

back when i first started in street stock we did a couple of races at varney, couple at cayuga and a couple at flamboro, but as the rules were changing it started to eliminate where i could go run, if i still had an S.S and there were some interesting events at sunset i would make the haul, and i'm sure other guys will. autumn colors never interested me, if it were a one day show i probably would have made the trip at least once.
