I'd say for sure Larry's car (96) is done and so is Ross's.....................but the latter showed up looking that way LOL
Also the 8 of Remington was on it's way the to scrap yard, I was talking to Jim after the feature and it was pretty bad, but it too showed up pretty trashed from an early season wreck.
Have you started the new car yet Ross?
Did you hurt the motor? sounded like it had a bent valve.
It was Barrie actually that put the nail in the coffen of my car.
New car is well started, stepping it up a notch for next year, and I'll leave it at that LOL
No idea about the motor yet, I haven't pulled it, makes it easier to move around the shop. I'm thinking that the heat and RPMs messed up a lifter, it still runs fine, just not sure at high rpms. Don't care that much anyhow as long as the castings are good, it was in need of refreshing anyhow.
All those darn red flags at Peterborough. You can't run cars flat out then take them to a dead stop. It killed my motors back in enduro days. I mean sitting on the track watching the temp gauge go well past 250 isn't fun, and thats in a car that never overheats on the hottest summer days. They really need to loop the cars moving through the pits if the track is blocked. Keeps that cars cool and makes it EASIER for the ambulance and tow trucks so they don't have to navigate a maze of parked cars....
#96 of larry mckenzie...well on its way to being FIXED. new rear frame rails, they think the center of the car is stilll straight, have to wait and see. Imagine if he showed up at flamboro???

I was pretty sure that Chevelle was going to be a '09 Toyota... ;D
