If they're goin closer to matching Barrie's rules, then I'm all for that as it'll equal the possibility of Barrie cars running Sunset the nights that they don't run, therefore opening up the field more.
I'd like to see this happen... so would some others I'm sure.
Go to Barrie rules... '09 will be even better than '08. We all had fun this year running Sunset on the off nights. 26 or 28 car field of TC is really cool, good show for the fans. The Sunset fans seem to like the Barrie TC coming down every once in awhile, I think that's great!
Oh personally I definately loved having the TC invitationals as I can't make it up to Barrie though like a bunch of the drivers up there so it was nice to see them run at Sunset a couple nights 🙂
I ran a 50 lapper a 40 lapper and two regular feature's at sunset with my Barrie tires, and still had enough tire to run Sauble and the fall festival at Flamboro, Sunsets surface is gritty for sure but I think alot of it comes down to how you drive and the car set up in order to manage your tire wear.

BINGO!!! The track isn't too smooth and needs re-done but i can attest to what justme is saying...
I used 2 RF and 2RR 440 treadwear all year and the ones on there now will start next season.
left sides were 160 treadwear just switched on the rim and back to front i never changed them and they were well used from the beginning they are toast now...
that's a 4cyl so i can't speak for the other divisions i think the other factors are just as damaging as the track itself...
seemed the little time i ran at ptbro was harder on my tires than a whole night at sunset because my car was not set up right for there and i was using the car up cause i wasn't as smooth fighting the car....
i don't know if ptbo is hard on tires, but i know it's hard on cars!
