The pits are being paved?!

There is news that the pits are being paved (I guess where most of the flooding has been happening?). I have not witnessed this myself but can anybody confirm?

I was there for practise, there are fixing them down by rob pooles pit to the end where it was flooded, and putting in a bigger pump

since when does putting in a bigger pump = the pits being paved?

they dumped three trucks of ashaplt shavings and they were spreadind it with a bobcat
