Hi guys, just to let everyone know, I was talking with Wes just before he cancelled Sat. event and I mentioned that it might be good to allow the four cylinders a chance to run on August 16th instead of running the spectator races. Wes agreed saying that he couldnt explain why we were not scheduled to run on that day anyway since it is a fan appreciation day. Apparently the decision to cut us was made by Glenn for some reason that is unclear. Now, whether the night will be a points night or not remains to be seen, I for one think that point is unimportant and just want to race. So if you are a four cylinder from Sunset, I'll see ya in turn 2 on Sat.August 16th. Sensei.
The reason they were cancelled in the first place...was he wanted more pit pads for the visiting Thunder Cars. But i'm glad to hear that the 4cyl will be running!! 🙂
Hey guys and gals, just wanted to confirm with everyone that the four cylinders are running on August 16th. I just spoke to Wes and he says that it will be a no-points night so it wont effect you if you already have plans. I also advised him that the Sunset website does not say this on the running banner and he assures me it will be corrected to reflect that fact ASAP. not a points night thats sucks whats the point unless the pay outs are bigger! i wounder if i will still have to start at the back
