Thanks for the link Ross, do you utilize that after you pass up dictionary.com,  This really is funny as hell, please quote anywhere that I, meaning me, (yes you can click on my name and view past posts) said anything negative about the banquet or otherwise. This is where the problem lies in your rant here, you are so damn excited to get your contrary view posted you neglect to look at who posted it?

Slow down a little Ross, and read, I love my track, I promote my track, I am proud of my track, do I agree with things all the time?...nope. But I do take the time to read, observe and listen before I speak. A little over a year ago the only bashing of Sunset that took place on these forums was from drivers and or staff from other tracks. At that time there were a select few of us here that defended it, regardless of who owns it. During that time we made some friendships primarily with the drivers and staff from one of our greatest critics. This has done wonders for participation at both tracks during invitationals etc.

You need to find someplace else to park your beek, although a small percentage of the time there may be some value in your retorts they are completely out weighed by the ignorance displayed in the majority of them.

Throughout this entire thread there were nothing more than casual observations of the nights events and yes the empty hand clapping for a lot of people who were no shows really did stand out for me, did I incinuate anything by it?  Nope just an observation. People stated dinner was good, Wes and Pat put on a good night on short notice, other than that this thread was pretty tame, that is untill you piped up yet again.
Go stir it up someplace else.

Just a mention from someone behind the scene's who is not a member of Sunset, or races there, but you guys that are all complaining about the Awards Deal should really consider keeping your thoughts to yourself sometimes.

I mean you raced in a 4 Cylinder deal !!, or a LLM- or Street Stock, and although the Track just about goes broke because of a rained out season, they still pull it together to put on a banquet for ya all because you were all complaining that there wasn't going to be a banquet.

It was all, cry- cry - cry about no banquet....and then when they have one to satisfy everyone, all ya do is criticize them for it.

Now its- Cry-Cry-Cry because it cost to much to go...Ya should have stayed home !!

Your all mad because you didn't get a Jacket....Go to Walmart and buy one for $20.00 !!

You all complain about the Championship Payouts....
