As some of you already know, I will be racing a LLM at Sunset in 2012. I attended a number of races last year and am really looking forward to racing at a first class facility like Sunset.
For those of you who may not know my background, I have raced Legends cars, Pro Challenge cars and for the last four years or so have raced a late model at Flamboro. I did not race at all last year.
My car (McColl LLM) is ready to go. I had hoped to have it ready for August of last year but ran out of time. The car has already been set up by McColls.
I am looking for individuals who would be interesting in helping to crew the car. I am looking for a spotter (experience preferred but not required) and one or two additional crew members (no experience required).
The current plan is to run every other week plus LLM and Open Late model specials at Sunset so this is a good opportunity for someone who would like to get involved but cannot commit to being at the track every weekend.
I look after crew member’s pit fees and their food and drinks at the track. There is no requirement to work at my shop to maintain the car/repair crash damage. Crew members have to get themselves to and from the track unless they live near highway 89 in which case I could provide a lift as I will be coming across 89 from the Mount Forest area to the track.
