for sure that counts, that's the way it should be, the barrie site and the organization seems the best of 'em all, but i'm talking who won the 1982 championship, who was the rookie of the year and how did joe schmoe who was the rookie of the year this year do compared to past winners.
i've learned more about the history of racing at sunset from this site than i have at the track, the sport may be further ahead and more prestigious (if that's the word i'm looking for) or a bigger deal now if we payed more attention to our past and celebrated it. i love those old pics of sunset cars and the track they should be on the track website so the kids coming in can see the tradition....i guess i'm dreaming

Well I do think the Gambler might hold the record for the most career feature wins currently, I was speaking of the record when Shaughnessy won a remarkable 14 of 16 features in the 1976 season in the Hugger Firebird!!! I think that one is safe for sure with the parity in today's field!!! And STATSMAN is the man to talk too about records from both tracks as I'm sure you've seen by his brilliant photo collection and vast Simcoe County race knowledge!! But I do agree with you just the same USERNAME!!! The more race info is better for the website for sure and that goes for announcers, journalists, and just fan interest as a whole I feel!!! I'm pretty sure Mark was intending to do something like this at Sunset in the past just didnt have enough time to balance the busy life of being the webmaster with things he had on the go at home!!! And thats too bad cause he did a fine job, as I dont think anyone would argue!!! Thanks for your own comments about Barrie's site, as I played a small part in that with the weekly write ups!! And for all the bashing of Sunset I've done in the past with my famous "Dump on the Hump" catch phrase I dont really mind the track, to me thats all in good fun to get the dander of the Sunset faithful up!!!LOL But I would hope people have noticed that I've refraned from slamming Sunset, and it wont be happening in the future!!! LOL Wait I must be sick or something!!!LOL

Almost mid week and no update???? Any idea why??? Maybe someone can answer a few of my questions then!! Who won in Thunders?? Even the top 3 if you can remember. How many LLM's were there?? I saw some of DANKA's pics great shots by the way. Noticed former Mosport LLM #2 Danny Robinson was there. He planning on doing the full year at Sunset??? Anyone know?? Good addition if so.
