Hey Mark, actually on the pics its Fred working on the bus.  Glenn wasn't there..Jeff had called him shortly after we got to the track and he told Jeff he wasn't going to be there.

Its a big transition, lots of details that have to be worked out.  I'm sure they will try to get the website updated as soon as possible.  I don't know who is doing it now, but with so many changes the staff is doing the best it can!

I stand corrected, you are correct that's Fred (had to look again and yes I need new glasses 🙂 ).  Yup, just heard that Glenn was there in the aft but not for the race night.

ok maybe this is the deal.

the scoring was so bad on the first night that they don't want to post the results yet because they know it's gonna be a sh*t storm cause things were so wrong....and they are figuring out how to deal with it...

for the talk of scrapping the first night of points i'm gonna be pissed if my finish is scrapped it's not my fault the scorers tooled out.

if it's not that it's ignorance but enough people are saying it now to get the hint to get on it.

i may sound like a dick for ripping the website but i do like the track but what we're talking about is basic fundamental information that should be available to the teams and public. it's essential to post results of a race as a racetrack it's their duty.  we spend so much time to put together and race the car as our part.  thier part is to keep track of it and tell us how we did.  we do our part.  sunset isn't doing their part.

how long does it take to turn on your computer, log into the website, type 15-30 names and numbers 4 times from a sheet of paper.........10-20 min??  what is there for anyone to not agree on as far as posting results and standings?  font colour?

teams can't update their own website without finding out where we finished so if we were out of the top 5 we could go race on the 400 and the cops would keep better track and it's frustrating it makes our sponsors think they are mickey mouse and they are spending money to advertise somewhere that doesn't have it together enough to post the race results never mind market themselves effectively

believe it or not i like everyone that works at the track that i've met and like glen too, but with all due respect to the changing of owners this stuff has been slipping for 2 years and is not related to the sale because for the good of the racers and fans 20 minutes of typing stats isn't important to either of them seller or buyer it seems..

i'd trade the race reports for plain old stats anyday at least stats don't miss anything and get names right.(well not in the first events but we haven't seen it yet to prove it)

lol terry woodley became terry woodward after his feature win this week but the number was right at least

as far as i remember  barrie's website didn't go dormant when the track changed hands....

plus i didn't see results from week 2 posted even at the track but someone correct me if i'm wrong.

anyways....see what happens i'm done bitchin for for now believe it or not....

My read on this is that am sure that no one would like the website to be operational and accurate more than Wes. We all know that Glenn didn't really care too much about it! Maybe Wes is making major changes to the website and how it is ran. If that is the case, and considering the site hasn't been updated, it would appear that it is, then that would be great news for everyone!
