I personally thought that the late model feature was one of the better that i've seen lately. Really good run for Chris Morrow,Kevin Cornelious,Tony Tierisma,Mike Bentley,Billy Z. and Fumerton.Cronan with a terrific race getting faster as the race went on ,Holdaway another good showing and what about that red rocket Al Inglis, was he coming on at the end or what and you cant forget the guy i thought had the fastest car all night Jason Parker man was he real fast.Congrats to Tom Walters on a hard fought win. Lots of racing at least i thought throughout the pack. These are the types of races i really enjoy , lots of cars from different tracks getting together to battle it out.Did miss the 10 car of Shepherd though.

racefan48, know what you mean by not much passing and as you said ,that is at most tracks. well stand up and thank your promoter, track owner, after all they are the ones who sold most drivers on going crate racing. any ways enough about that, after all we are not supposed to bring up crate engine debates in this forum. single file, bumper to bumper racing, wow, can not wait to go see more of that, lol.

You obviously have not witnessed the features at Sunset on any Saturday night side by side for 30 laps check it out.

wattie1 is right as on a normal Saturday night, you see two, three-wide racing all night that has you always watching. The lack of cars & starting fast cars to the front is what promoted what some would call a less interesting race on Saturday night. The only interesting factor, really, was watching Walters come through the field.

I don't understand those who say the Sunday race was no passing boring, would you want more cars yes but who's fault is that the promoter for putting on a good show no it's the drivers that don't support the event. Then they complain the tracks don't have enough extra races, Dilley is trying that's 2 good paying events and nobody shows up go figure. Back to the race Walters was like a fine surgeon as he systematically picked off every car one by one,  I believe he started 9th, and all stout drivers and really showed how good he realy is when he wants to be. So to say there was no passing you certainly were not watching the samr race I was. Well done Stompin' Tom.
