How much for the turn 4 condo with the cathedral ceiling livingroom ? I also need parking for a minimum of 3 vehicles . What about visitor parking ? Is there 24 hour security on premisis ? Will they be open for viewing May1, 2009 ??? ;D ;D

I don't know the owner that well, but I do know most of the staff, and if will help you I will put in a good word with the owner and see if we can't persuade him to install a Porty potty on corner three, just for you. and you can get ladybugprincess (is that a girl or what) to stand guard for you. What say? would that be sufficient until something better comes along? lol

I have never read so much bull crap in all my life, from people? who have nothing, so have nothing to lose!
Stop and think, If you can? why would this man buy a race track to tear it down and build houses? when there is hundreds of acres of vacant land for sale in the area! would make more sense to buy vacant land, right?

I have taken the time to stop and think about it, but "it" was about the glorious ole days of a great track.  Why?  Because your theories require zero train of thought.

You would not buy only the vacant land next to the track because the track would keep the property value, when refering to building new homes way too low to make it remotely profitable.

Would you buy a house next door to a noisy, polluting track?

However, how about a house with a nice pretty park next door?

I have no idea what the tracks motives are, nor do I really care anymore, but from a business perspective, you buy the vacant land to build houses, then you have no choice but to buy the track.

There are two parts to the subdivision theory that make it difficult at this time:

1.  Why would you buy land that will take quite a bit of clean up (contamination) when there is other land around it that would be easier to work with?

2.  More importantly, there is essentially a development freeze in Innisfil right now.  The town just increased their new lot development fees by about 120%.  That takes a fairly big bite out of their profit, and housing prices won't keep going up forever.  There are several builders that have land and are going to due nothing with it right now due to the increases.  Will Sunset be a subdivision someday?  Sure it will, however that isn't going to be anytime soon.  Most of the developments that you see now were almost 10 years from sale of land to construction of homes.

Well guys your theory of a sub-division is out the window.
My Uncle owns the 32 acres in behind the speedway and I called him today, he confirmed that the speedway is just that anotherwards no sub-division.  As the land owner behind the speedway he is privelaged to this information.  Besides do any of you people realize what it takes to sever the property into building lots, and have the zoning changed from commercial to residential etc etc.  Hence don't forget your dealing with Innisfil Township.  This kinda stuff takes years and years.  Anyone that thinks it's going to happen anytime soon needs to do some reasearch and what's involved here, your all way off base.
