ya thunder....you're right...i lost my cool, but don't worry i'm not gonna wreck the show i'm gonna try to win the show buddy.

we as racers should only worry about racing...keeping track of the stats and where we finished should not be my worry.  instead i have to chase people down while i work my job through the week to try to get credited with my finish before saturday because i'm screwed after saturday because they'll never sort it out after the next race and i'm pissed...the track has been operating for how many years and it doesn't have a system to keep track of the events?  it's just as unacceptable as me driving backwards on the track imo

the problem with sunset is nobody has gone supersonic and they still don't see the light.  sometimes sh*t has to hit the fan to wake the powers that be up and this hasn't happenned....

after all the hype i'm not gonna do that now i know better but you can't convince me that we should stand for what's going on there when we put our asses and money on the line to make a show with nothing in return for us and our sponsors but stress....i hope somebody addresses some of this at the drivers meeting or else we're looking at a supersonic event in the future.  if we had somewhere else local to go to race that allowed our cars and had it's sh*t together sunset would have 5 less cars.  the only thing they have going for them is rules differences...as a business it stinks.

i stand by what i say with regards to the 4 funs sorry it's the truth it's a cheat fest all that stuff is fact the stuff i'm talking about requires no searching to find and it all exists.  not to say that everyone is knowingly doing all of it but these obvious things should be identified by tech to give the class credibility and deter others from not playing by the rules and i challenge doherty to clean it up

It takes a few to stand up and say something for changes to be made.

IMO it is Managements job to make sure everyone is happy. The cars, drivers and fans make the show. Very simple. Take one out of that equation = no show. Period.

And this is a competititive sport. If you don't like the competition, try knitting right? But the website, stats and writeups need desperate attention at Sunset...

It's kinna funny when you think about it but this is how I explained it to Wes and (I think her name is Linda doing scorekeeping - came from Varney she said). I have no illusions that I will win a championship. I have done it before and I know what it takes and the stress involved but I do think that if my car makes it out to every race I am a 5th to 10th place car and I am ok with that. The last 2 years I have had nothing but trouble missing too many races and ending up way at the bottom.

This year I just want to stay consistant and not have a lot of work to do on the car during the week. When I went out for my first race things went just as planned placing in the top 10 (I think it was 7th because of 2 cars being black flagged in front of me). When I found out I was placed 24th I said you have to realize us drivers spend a lot of time and money working on these cars and all of this so at the end of the year at the banquet we can claim a $10 trophy.

All I asked was for a spot that was mine. I had went to so many people at the track that kept telling me to go to somebody else until I found Linda (again I think that was her name) which was very helpful and understanding. I came there with other people that agreed I was in the position I said, I gave a link to an actual video on youtube and I looked at score sheets that all disagreed with eachother yet I think it went nowhere as my count using my score card differs drastically from theres.

What can you do. All I can say is I am happy I am not sitting in the top 3. In the past I have seen the end of the season come down to a few points and the championship being decided on the last nite of racing. Wes had told me to let it go as it all works out over the season.

As far as anything mentioned here today by Username I totaly agree with him but just won't be as vocal as him. If you spend thousands on a car and thousands of hours then drive around like a madman in circles with clinched hands and clenched butt cheeks then at least give us what we earned and nothing more... as far as the 4 funs go you can spot an ilegal car a mile away but 1 foot in front of you in tech can't see it.. even Wes had said he knows which ones cheat cuz he can see it but he also said he has a plan for that.. just wait till you 4 funners will have to drive clockwise one nite..lol
