Wow I still can't believe it didn't rain for the 2 days of racing as most of the weather predictions showed. Great turnout for cars as noted; 25-30 for SS,LLM and Supers, about 23 Minis I think and 14 Mods. Great racing and not too many bone headed moves all in all. Great side by side battles in the LLM with Morrow and Walters early on and great to see Morrow have a good day after a tough year. Rusnell is just too strong for everyone and anyone it appears in SS; if he doesn't have a bad day it seems like he's a lock to win almost every time out. Thought we might be in for a long haul as the Supers just couldn't get any flow to their race and with 26 starting (I think) that had something to do with it. Too bad Wilson went out early and the Watsons`got beat up a little to give Hanley a little more to deal with. All in all a great show as the playoffs get rolling; here`s hoping we get good weather for Autumn Colours and we`ll see ya ll there.
anyone have a rundown of maybe the top 3 or 5 in each class. (did ministocks run, haven't heard anything there)
Ms - Brad Martin, Cory Young, Justin Holmes
SS - Randy Rusnell, Nick Roth, Joe Adams
LM - Mike Bentley, Tom Walters, Taylor Holdaway
OSCAAR - Jeff Hanley, Rob Clarke, Jesse Kennedy
OSCAAR Mod - Gary McLean, Dave Terry, Brent McLean
Great show, One question though, in the late model feature why did 47 get his spot back after he had a bad restart mid race? If the starters thought the start was bad, then why let the pack race for two and a half laps before throwing the caution again?
I wondered about that too. The whole field finished a lap before the caution flew.
