Someone who wants to run straight up and still meet the stock rear drum rule?
What's the future about a rear end thats been around for 40 years?
I am starting to believe our old friend Ross is back
Scotty
What took you so long!!!He is like Freddy Kruger....iammm back..
If someone is going out and buying a 9"housing or welding the mounting brackets themselfs,to install in their metric thunder car,why waste ur time, just go with the floater. Now,this is just my opinion and you have a right to ur own.
P.s. seen ur bud with the 81 car at Peterpatch last night,he said to say hi.. 😀 😀 😀If you are welding or odering brackets for your floater why not go with 3 link? See where we are going? I'm all for not seeing axles flying out but do you want to keep going in this dirrection.
Oh yeah how did Doug do? Give your 14 team a run?
Oh,are we talking cast steel ford diff's... ;D ;D ;D ;D
I dont agree with floaters in thundercars, or rebuildable shocks. Stop spending money!! Leave the rules alone, set them in stone for 10 years! Every time you change rules, the rich guys just get further ahead.
Kawartha is a big track, and you dont see Willie Ryns busting axles do you? no. I run a stock metric rear end, and all I do is buy 1 after market axle from Mosier Engineering. They are bullet proof.
Shocks, being alowd rebuildable next year I hope Ted does NOT allow it. Why do we need that? Shocks last 2 seasons at least if your not hard on them. We have gone from $60 shocks to $175 shocks, thats idiotic. Rebuildable shocks mean the rich guy can now have them taken apart, and revalved to make a custom set. Just more damn money..........Leave it alone, or we will just loose more and more cars.
Thunder cars are not street stocks anymore, they are Late Models without the slicks or headers.
what place did u finish charlie?

Well,have you seen a late model without a floater..lmao
Didnt you have one for sale, not long ago?besides the safety factor, what a gear selection there is for the 9",and remember you dont have to run one if you dont want.Just think how easy a gear change will be.
If this travelling series pans out for next year,it will be awesome ;D
