Sunset cars are not allowd a 4bbl anymore as far as i know, so ted isnt giving his cars a penalty.  Also, varney cars are allowd floater rear ends, that should also be a penalty.

And yes Thayne, Herbie had plug wires burnt off, he left the track a few times, I broke, and frank had his trouble.  00 and 44 are the only cars Sunset cant run with.  But you guys did kick ass last time, and that is also a fact, seeya Saturday!

Kawartha cars are the only 4bbl thunder cars i believe, but their weight percentages are only 53 left and 45 rear.At varney,if you run a floater, its a 50lb penalty for that added safety factor.Who the hell wants a ford 9" drum brake set up,Mark Dilly likes to think future,so hopefully he allows floaters in thunders next year for a 50lb weight penalty also.

Someone who wants to run straight up and still meet the stock rear drum rule?

What's the future about a rear end thats been around for 40 years?

The future my dear watson,is the fact of the floater in a thunder car.Next year at Sunset with this new banked track, iam sure some of those 25 year old axles will be breaking...
If someone is going out and buying a 9"housing or welding the mounting brackets themselfs,to install in their metric thunder car,why waste ur time, just go with the floater. Now,this is just my opinion and you have a right to ur own.
P.s.  seen ur bud with the 81 car at Peterpatch last night,he said to say hi.. 😀 😀 😀
