I  should have mentioned Vic Parsons also ran good enough to win but had a problem in the feature and had to go off,did come back on but too late in the race to make a difference.Also overheard track officials saying that the car count was one of the biggest this early in the season in a long time.Super racing in all classes.

Not trying to start rumours or such and no I have not heard anything. Just a simple question - in the last few years has this new owner had any affiliation what-so-ever with any other local speedways?

BigDon, - No to my knowledge Wes has not been involved in another of racing programs. He was out to Sunset a couple times last season. He is a good family friend, of my Mom's and my Mom (Debbie Shakell) thinks Wes will do good things for Sunset.

Wes is not a solo partner, I have heard he co-owns the track with another gentleman, My mom was planning on calling Wes this week, so I'll confirm that once I've heard who this other partner is.

Yes Skidder its true he did Lease the track for those years. My grandparents didn't sell until I believe it was 1984 and that was to the Slaughter's.

P.S. Burrows Boyz are going to rock this year  ;D lol..
