Wow! Doug cant win can he? Last year he was called a cheater this year a sandbagger! He was told to build a new car, so he does and still spanks everyone. Maybe he doesn't car about how big his trophy case is or another championship! Maybe he just wants to come out and have fun this year! Would any of you want 400 lbs thrown on your car? If all the haters spent as much time on there cars as they do hating on the kid maybe just maybe they can catch him? I dont mean that in a bad way before everyone calls me an ass!

Hey 240racer next time your in the pub introduce yourself. I do as much as I can to promote racing here in the city but most of them still think its a hillbilly sport! We all just sit around drinking beer and go wreck each other. Some things never change!

hey my reference to a "300pd" weight penalty was in the interest of good racing like I said I have not seen the car up close.......is there a better way to even up a BEGINNER CLASS  then by all means do that don't take the fun out of a stock class....perhaps  a challenge in a higher class is waiting for this very good mini stock team :-X

Ok first off 4cyl racing is no where near a beginner class any longer.  Pure stock is just the class name and the only thing pure stock about theese cars is the name. weight is the only way to even up these cars just due to the differences of one car to another Doug's car is a well prepared car and well prepared cars usually do very well if not win. I race at another track so I don't have a dog in this fight but I have raced against Doug he is in it to win but sometimes discretion is the beter part of valor when racing.  Sometimes people just don't have the funds to move up A division  I would like to run thunder but a 4cyl is what I can afford maybe he is in the same boat. ;D

so what class is the entry class then? Just because cars and or a division advance in rules and therefore costs, doesn't stop it from being an entry class. Until Sunset offers another more inexpensive class, I'm afraid the pure stocks are it. Maybe stock riding lawn mowers out in the parking lot?

well ma bee this is what is killing racing my vote will always go to keeping a class the same year to year meaning if it is a pure stock class keep it that way if ya wanna go faster move up a class don't change rules in a class to make it faster as this is what keeps new dogs from joining in the fight...so because the rules say entry level class add weight to keep a car competitive with the other entries  I don't care if someone spends 20 tears in an entry level class as long as his or her car remains an entry level car........all I want in the end is the same as most....24 car features in all classes it wasn't that long ago when most tracks had a b feature for at least 1 class (usually the entry level class) on most regular sat nights
