There is a website where some of the tracks are posting all the finishes for the races and the points get up dated regularly.  Speednet Direct, you can log on there and type in the race track and select any of the weeks run and it will show the placing of all the cars and the points earned in that race.  Oscaar is on that site as is a tab for Barrie. http://www.speednetdirect.com/points.php

Thanks for the info godsun. But my feeling on the sunset points is maybe the first 5-8 weeks results and points were done so nonshalontly that now every time someone looks at them to go through them and try and make some sense of them that they come up with something different every try.I personally wouldn't want to post any final points standings either until each and every driver at least had their chance to verify what points they had been keeping for themselves with what the track had been keeping.

Hi Guys

All the points should be up as soon as Al can get them online.

I've sent thru everything but the Four Cylinders as the top 3 in the points are so tight I'm making sure I've transferred finishes correctly and added right etc.  I did have one of the top runners question a finish one night.  Sooooo this is the delay.  It's very time consuming.  Verifying numbers doesn't mean changing finishes either people.
These other web-sites you talk about may get the finishes but there are things that happen behind the scenes that change positioning etc.....

Anyone can throw points on a board, but when I do, I want to be 100 % sure they are right.

Thank you for your patience

Walters called the track several times this afternoon threatening to sue if they did not run tonight or have a rain date .Apparently the calls degenerated into profanity laced tirades where they just kept hanging up on him .

Yes you are right. I came up earlie Sat. to see what was going on, there were a lot of drivers and staff walking in and out of the ticket booth, getting paid for last week.
As I waited by the door for my turn to talk to the management, I overheard someone (owner?) talking on the phone and telling whoever was on the other end to stop swearing and threatening him!
when he got off the phone I did overhear him telling one of the staff members that it was indeed Tom Walters, swearing, and threatening him, if he did not do what Walters wanted. I was surprised to hear this, because I always thought that Tom was a good sportsman. And the stories that I have heard about his evil temper were just lies, but sorry to say I guess they are not.
With that in mind I reflected back over this years racing at Sunset, and I remember most of the accidents on the speedway were caused by Tom, trying to hard to get to the front. that is why Vic Parson left and never came back,Steve his pit crew told me that the track was turning a blind eye to what ever Walters did, and rest got black flagged. I seen him crash Chris Vic and many others on his way to try and dominate the points standing.
So next year I don't believe I will be a Walters fan any longer.

Here we go again....

Did anyone take the time to ask Tom Walters what is going on? If it was him, and he's that pissed I'm sure he will give you a piece of his mind.

See you have reason to beleive something is going on here, but instead of looking into it, an indirrect rumor is published as fact here. Be careful, this site, and what is published here carries a lot of power.

Not saying what you have posted is wrong, it might be correct. but without checking it might have been a drunken crew member loosly associated with the team that flew off that handle. Or you might be tottally correct, and have the news first...
