Sorry that you could not see, but the track has higher banking on the ends and straights.  The track is approximately 40 feet longer than last year, The entrance has been moved closer to corner 3.  Wall are going to have concrete on the track side of the walls, to help cushion any car that is rubbed against it to help protect them.  The sign, SUNSET SPEEDWAY  on the back stretch is bigger than last year. Looking mighty cool!  Have talked to a number of drivers from other tracks who can not wait to run on it.  Have A MERRY CHRISTMAS

so whats the actual size around the inside groove and around the outside groove....?

  I believe it is a true 1/3 mile now with progressive banking . The straits are 30 ft longer then they were before and the track now has about 25% more banking . Combined with new pavement and lots of bite it will be very fast .

it's going to be tough figuring out gear....the track could be way fast for a true 1/3rd mile.... it may take Kawartha style gear just because of the speed the banking will let us travel at.
