I do not understand it is up to the drivers, every one bitches about tracks dictating to the drivers on rules or what ever and we are trying to give them a vote on a optional rule to run rollers that is right it is optional and you are bitching it makes me kind of laugh in a way and Nitrous is not that cheap very hard on motors, and for tracks working together I think the LLM rules are getting closer each year which is a good thing.
Have a good night must get back to the Xmas tree kids are dictating.

Mark is right its a vote. If you don't like it vote against it but these post make people laugh. The arguments are unsubstantiated, vague, lack well thought out arguments
The rockers are a durability part not performance and any peformance everyone feels is gained by builts is curtailed by a rev limiter
He is giving the crates the same rockers so the field is even
well i look at it this way, whether it be sunset, peterborough or wherever, i have no problem with rev limiter on built motor. we do not need motors turning 7000 plus rpm`s, so put limit at 6800. as i said before crates should also be on rev limiter set at no more than 6400 rpm. there are lots of race cars with crates who have never had a problem with stock rockers as long as they never over revved them. that is not vague or unsubstantiated, it is the plain and simple truth. but i do wonder why a rev limiter on a built motor that already has a weight penalty, plus weight penalty for headers. i do not have a problem with sunset doing this, however because all tracks are supposed to work together how long before peterborough does the same? thet are putting rev limiter on crates next season, so now two tracks with different rule. mark dilley, could you please let me know what rpm limit you are putting on built motor as i would like to run some specials at sunset in 2011, thanks. don hart

Here's my View:
Since it's been awhile since I was involved in a race car I'd like to see all the tracks get together and have the same rules for LLM so that any car on ANY given night can go race wherever the Hell he wants to !
Racing has got priced right out of hand for any1 that wants to make it a Sat. night thing not a Business.
Racing is supposed to be fun & it used to be just that, now it's all about $$$.
1; If this goes through make sure you buy the right roller rockers for a vortec on the crates and I still haven't looked at valve cover clearance.
2; You can buy up to 4 sets of stamped rockers and still not get a set of true 1.5s One set of rollers and your good to go.
