I believe the car was Kyle Donaldson's...
Several tracks in 2010 made them legal, including Kawartha. In fact Peterborough allowed them last year too, though not many made the switch.
This is very simple if the racers want them they will vote yes if they do not they will vote no as for the price Bayside sells rollers for around 325 and I believe stamped are 225 as for the rev limiter it is a lot cheaper than a gear rule I would think $150 compared to $600 plus but this is only my opinion and this is why the only way we will make a change is if my registered drivers want it not me or anyone else but them.
I think they have earned that right

Ring & Pinions can be had for as low as $225 to $300.00 (Motive Gear, PTR, etc.) the teams should already have their pumpkins and spools. Roller Rockers are dirt cheap if you know where to look. Every major manufacturer has them available for all three makes in the $200 - $250 range and upwards, depending on what kind of fulcrum bearing you want.
these other guys are getting off topic , when you go on the sunset web site and look up late model rules the first page states rules 2010 - 2012 . so why is there any vote being done ? if the other tracks have them let me keep them and during the invitational races put a penalty on those cars - simple .
