First of all, these results are totally unofficial. I try to jot them down as I see it so bare with me if they're wrong. If you have a disagreement, just leave me a note in the guestbook, by e-mail or on facebook and I'll make the needed adjustments.

Limited Late Model: Tom Bounces Back to Victory Lane
In the limited late model division, it was a showcase of the legends with a combination of the new comers. After having a disappointing first night out (wrecked his car in practice, got into Vic with the #55 in the feature), Tom Walters bounced back this weekend taking the checkered flag convincingly over Tony Tiemersma. The showcase of legends was also shown in the heat as Vic Parsons took the second heat while Tony took the Tiemersma name back to the Victory Lane for the second straight week in a row in a heat win. Of course it wasn't just all the legends as we saw some of rising stars do well. Darin Malcolm in her year out at Sunset, scored his first heat win while Jason Witty barely beat Rob Poole for the last heat win. Truth be told, that heat was really close and will definately be one to be remembered.

Thunder Cars: Flyin' Frank is back
Back in the late 1990s, I can remember myself going up to Sunset Speedway to watch Frank Davey battle it out up there. Well, Frank took a couple years off from Sunset and went and ran Barrie Speedway. Though with the insight of new owners, he decided that he'd come back to Sunset Speedway and he came back in style, taking a heat (second week in a row with a heat win) and a feature win. Frank wasn't the only Barrie driver that made the move as Brad Holden joined Frank at Sunset, taking a heat win himself. Brian Murray took a heat win himself, giving him his first win as a rookie, while Mark Adams showed the older guys still got it in taking the other heat.

Mini Stocks: Controversy Strikes
All of the races (heats) had been quite entertaining and clean - till the Mini Stocks. With a couple laps to go, the battle for the lead came down between two rookies: Rob Krystal & Terry Clodd. Side-by-side for a couple laps, Terry had the door under Rob and in driver terms, that would mean that Rob would have to move up and give him space. Instead, Rob kept cutting down which resulted in Terry getting a flat tire, bringing out the caution. In a controversal move by the officials, they put Rob Krystal to the back as an involved car. This resulted in Doug Butler getting the lead and leading it to the end, taking his second feature win in a row. Doug also scored a heat win earlier in the night, giving him 5 wins in 6 races. Other winners included rookie Warren Paxton with his first, rookie Terry Clodd with his second, and rookie Rob Krystal with his first.

Heat #1
Starting Line-Up: #81 Paul Geniole Jr., #2 Shawn Ryan, #32 Ashley Romano, #33 Warren Paxton, #25 Jason Brown, #1 Dave Henderson, #79 Nicole Podewils, #05 Rusty Burleigh, #65, #34 Terry Clodd, #26 Bryan Daluz, #77 Frenchie, #43, #17 Tom Cox
Finishing Order: #33 Warren Paxton, #25 Brown, #81 Geniole Jr., #34 Clodd, #32 Romano, #79 Podewils, #26 Daluz, #2 Ryan, @05 Burleigh, #65.
NOTE: Warren Paxton debuted at the end of 2008 at Flamboro's Oktoberfest Classic, winning it. He has yet to finish outside of the top 3 in his career, as of this race. Will it continue? Hmm.....

Heat #2
Starting Line-Up: #04 Brian Love, #24 Ryan Stewart, #9 Marshall Pender, #6 Terry Woodley, #69 Trevor Martin, #99 Rob Krystal, #11 Dave Henderson Jr., #10 Doug Butler, #12 Eric Rainey, #41 Dan Britt, #90, #82 Nick Tooley, #88 Clyde Doucette
Finishing Order: #10 Doug Butler, #04 Love, #69 Martin, #41 Britt, #12 Rainey, #90, #24 Stewart

Finishing Order: #34 Terry Clodd, #33 Paxton, #26 Daluz, #2 Ryan, #25 Brown, #79 Podewils, #32 Romano, #1 Henderson, #05 Burleigh, #65
NOTE: Warren continued his top 3 streak while Terry Clodd made it two weeks in a row with a heat win.

Heat #4

Finishing Order: #99 Rob Krystal, #41 Britt, #90, #04 Love, #88 Doucette, #10 Butler
NOTE: These results are the most unofficial yet. They came across the line in a pack, 6 of them real close together. It was really hard to call so I took my best guess on what I thought I saw. I do have it on video so later when I watch the video and if I can determind something that should be different, I will let you know. I know for sure though that it put Doug's streak to boot that he had going of being perfect in 2009.

Feature
Starting Line-Up: #33 Paxton, #99 Krystal, #04 Love, #10 Butler, #25 Brown, #41 Britt, #26 Daluz, #32 Romano, #69 Martin, #2 Ryan, #88 Doucette, #79 Podewils, #12 Rainey, #90, #81 Geniole Jr., #24 Stewart, #05 Burleigh, #11 Henderson Jr.,  #92 Burton, #65, #1 Henderson, #77 Frenchie, #82 Tooley, #17 Cox, #43
Lap 3: #99 Rob Krystal, #33 Paxton, #04 Love, #34 Clodd, #10 Butler, #25, #41, #88, #26, #69 - #82 Stalled on the track to bring out the caution
6 Laps to go: #99 Rob Krystal, #34 Clodd, #10 Butler, #33 Paxton, #04 Love, #25, #26, #41, #79, #69, #81, #90 - #88 stalled on the track to bring out the caution
A couple laps to go: #10 Doug Butler, #26 Daluz, #33 Paxton, #04 Love, #25 Brown, #41, #79, #81, #69, #11 -- #34 cut a tire after contact from the 99, therefore bringing out the caution; therefore due to the 99 being an involved car, he was put to the back of the field.
Finishing Order: #10 Doug Butler, #26 Brian Daluz, #33 Warren Paxton, #04 Brian Love, #25 Jayson Brown, #41 Britt, #79 Podewils, #81 Geniole Jr., #69 Martin
NOTE: This gave Doug his second feature win in a row so look for him to be going after the hat trick next weekend. Also, Warren kept that magical streak going that he has.

BONUS NOTES
---TC#6 Mike Weeda, TC#57 Steve Lang, & #9MS Marshall Pender blew their engines in their heats
---#42MS Harold Noseworthy was ready to race, when he ran into transmission problems.
---Spoke to Rob Skyler (drove #69TC last year) and he says he's not racing this year and the car is for sale.
