The question i have is why would i sink a 1000$ into a for fun car as some one mentioned when we have a $750 claim rule!! I believe someone said the #4 FF got DQ'd and yes i did get DQ'd for running 13" and 14" rims, i've had enough of the points racing and went out there to have some fun. I was 3rd or 4th in points but i don't care now i don't see it right to make a rule change half way through the season that effects 2 cars in the top five and probably no one else.

Because your life is worth more than the $250 differance? Right?
If you can't get a caged 4-fun car built for under $750, you are either spending too much on parts, or trying to cheat. Like how much do you spend on the car to build? 300 bucks tops? 300 + 230 for a NEW cage = $530. Exclude the race seat from the claim. Who wants a seat that may not fit them anyhow?
i do have a cage in my car and i feel safe in my car i would feel safer in my car if i could control who was in the field and keep the clowns out. like the one who drove into the back of me and shortened my car by a good 2 inches under the caution after me waveing everyone off for half a lap. Figured he would have relized considering he was actually catching someone for once instead of haveing people go blowing by him!!!
rossevans i have read your posts for some time and watched you race on 3 occasions . Last night was the first time i had enough time to really look at your car . I don't know if you built that car or bought it that way but it has far more safety issues then my 4 Fun . Our 4 Fun was the quickest of the class was less then a 1/2 second slower then your thunder car ,
Ross if safety is really one of your main concerns you might want to stop welding on top of old welding on your car and invest in a grinder . You may also want to consider stopping to weld mis matched sized wall tubing together on your car in the name of safety .
While watching you refuel your car i saw what looked to be one of the worst installations of a fuel cell i have ever seen . My 4 Fun has a 5 gallon marine tank with hi pressure fittings and a propper car installed in a far more professional manner then the cell you are running .
There is a lot of room for safety improvements in our class and i am all for them but from what i have seen of your deal . you may want to clean up you own act first
