I am not a technical guru so I will not comment on the motor, carb or similar issues but I do hope someone figures out why an apple isnt an apple sometimes. I restate as I had previously, the 47 was fastest at the end of the straightaway and much faster than anyone on the corners meaning he carried more speed thru the corners and logically than off the corner and down the next straight. I see the question as why was he able to go deeper into the corner and faster around the corner than everybody else? Is that not handling versus power? If so why does his car handle like that and others don't? Just my opinions and observations.

Promotors and drivers better soon get together and figure this LM stuff out. No LM in Ontario has had the same rules for years now. I feel the crate program has turned into a joke. Spend an hour of your free time on the internet and use a phone and you can have a cheated up sealed motor from the states delivered to your door. Not saying all or any have one, but the ease at getting one throws a shadow of doubt over the whole program. And they are teched very rarely. LM racing in Ontario has been spiraling downward since the demise of Alstar and to the point I have little to no interest in attending the races. And that's a shame. I wouldn't miss one ten years ago. When are the promotors going to wake up and follow the Dirt model of equal rules at different track and actually start doing some tech before a controversy such as this one arises. Let's be a little more proactive or have an engine claimer implimented as Gary has suggested. Until then I'll be at the track when my team is but otherwise I'll be watcing some dirt racing or helping our NCATS team.

I totally agree with Slapdown's post along with Gary 36 's...100%!!! Let's get back to the racing thats on an equal level for all Tracks!

if you look back at the video from a past pro late model race you will see  it clearly. i didn't want to bring anything up the last time . all the other cars were falling off near the end of the race yet the 47 car was clearly on rails . can't always be the missed set-ups . all tech should be done the night of racing no b.s. that way.

I have watched him race for many many years and he always seems to drive way deeper into each and every corner more than every other driver.I was at the wed. night race and they did do some teching of the top cars just way too late[getting close to 1 am i think ]to be pulling motors apart especially during mid week. All in all if that first lap accident that took out 5 good cars hadn't of happened i think you would have seen a little different outcome, plus the one on the front stretch that sent 82 Shaw and i think it was the 44 Laking to the back early on also, all these drivers i do believe had starting positions ahead of the 47.So if all this extra corricular activity had not gone on so early in the race we might be looking at a different outcome.Just the way i see it,my own personal outlook on this race of course.
