Silverstone,
The reason Tom was put in the pits was, his side bump rail was at a 90 degree angle and Dan the starter reasoned it was dangerous sticking out like that and might puncture a tire of a competitor. The starter deemed he was not involved in the incident, I hope that clears up the confusion, the announcer should have known the scenerio.

BARRIE BOY. Please change your handle you are embarrassing those that still call Barrie home. Quote "after the 48 was wrecked by tom, the 18 might of gave him a little shove in 3". Which race where you watching, 48 wrecked by Walters ? how bout 48 wrecked by his own stupidity do you not know there is no Alcohol allowed in the stands ???
First Mr Evans.. I wasn't in the stands.. I watched just the video. I replayed the wreck over and over. Both Drivers were leaning on eachother as they left 4.. that's all i saw... then either the 48 spun his tires or whatever, but he definitely looped it.. he was also fine until the following cars piled in. I specified that it was maybe them both, leaning on eachother that initially caused the wreck.. that was all
Second, As for being embarrassing to those at Barrie, I don't attend That speedway very often if at all.. My handle represents the city I hail from...
Third, I asked you to specify which Baker you were referring to tryin to wreck the 47...
fourth, I recalled what I think of the 47 and his style.. its common info, as everyone has an opinion of Tom's style.. and that's great...
fifth, I Dont Drink so get over yourself!!!
After watching the last Canadian Tire series race in Montreal, and what transpired on the last lap. I can see the same happening to the 47.. that's all I was stating.. Sometimes you just push the wrong guy. And he stuffs ya.. plain and simple..
as for the respect comment.. i guess it just goes without sayin lol
people seem to forget sometimes that the best view of an incident is the people either in the incident or in one of the following cars!
I have to agree Prince..
this year ray shepherd was put to the back for "spinning me" in turn 1. everybody in the stands were sure he did it, in reality(which i even stopped and told the starter) i cut down across rays nose and turned myself! i STILL got my spot back and ray was sent to the back! just a personal example of peoples different perceptions with on track incidents! i already apologized to Mr. Shepherd by the way! lol

I agree Ray is a good guy . and sometimes $&*? happens. and the calls can go the wrong way. In that case why wouldnt the offical believe the driver. that took the time, to come to a stop and wait for them to comeover and explaine the incident.. Its unfortunate and im sure you felt sour about the whole deal. but it is what it is right? lol
